Academic affiliation: Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Oslo.
Professional interests: Treatment process and outcomes, the use of patient feedback systems.

Ingunn Amble has been the head of the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, Modum Bad, where the project was established. She now leads the project "Improved therapy with the Outcome Questionnaire - 45 feedback system?", which tests the electronic feedback from patient to therapist at six treatment units in Vestre Viken, Buskerud. Patients fill out the OQ-questionnaire prior to each consultation, and feedback reports are immediately made available to the patient and to the therapist. This information can be helpful in the clinical assessment and helps to assist in the therapeutic process. It also strengthens the patient’s cooperation and involvement. For research purposes, this feedback information yields important data to the process-outcome studies, enabling new knowledge about the mechanisms of change in psychotherapy.

The project has been supported by the Norwegian Health Directorate and the ExtraStiftelsen, Health and Rehabilitation. It is carried out in cooperation with DPS Drammen, and DPS Bærum. It is implemented in cooperation with and under the guidance of Professor Michael Lambert, Brigham Young University, Utah, USA.
We are also cooperating with the interdisciplinary unit for dual diagnosis (Tedd) at Diakonhjemmet, Oslo University Hospital
