Senior Researcher and Former Research Director
Asle Hoffart is one of the leading psychotherapy researchers in Norway and is recognized internationally for his pioneering work on therapy process and outcome. He has written two books on social phobia and has published over 70 scientific articles in international journals. Asle is a specialist in clinical psychology, an approved supervisor in cognitive therapy, and has his main position as Senior Research Supervisor at the Modum Bad Research Institute.
Research Interests: Psychotherapy research, process and outcome in cognitive therapy, anxiety disorders including PTSD, the relationship between theories and clinical practice, the philosophical basis of psychotherapy.
